Séptimo congreso de la CUT: una central con nuevas rutas

No solo delegados nacionales hicieron presencia, la organización invitó a representantes de sin- dicatos y centrales sindicales del ámbito internacional quienes, acompañaron las deliberaciones.

Temas que van más allá de lo laboral y lo sindical fueron clave en las discusiones de 800 delegados de diversos sindicatos de todo el país, reunidos la semana pasada en Bogotá, para construir un plan de acción que les permita responder a los ataques del Gobierno y el capital

Temas como la afiliación internacional de la Central Unitaria de Trabajadores, CUT; la ley de cuotas con respecto a la representación de las mujeres y los jóvenes en cargos de dirección, donde se evaluó desde el porcentaje hasta la no aceptación de la propuesta; la eliminación de la doble representación, es decir que un dirigente sindical tenga un cargo regional y pertenezca a la junta nacional de la central; la cantidad de afiliados que debe tener un sindicato para poder enviar delegados a congresos, debía reducirse de 300 a 25 y poder tener por lo menos uno; y la creación de la escuela de pensamiento CUT, para que la educación de la organización no dependa de acuerdos de cooperación con otras instituciones; fueron algunos de los que tuvieron álgidas discusiones en las diferentes comisiones del VII congreso nacional de la CUT, realizado en Bogotá la semana pasada.

El evento también contó con un congreso de jóvenes trabajadores, uno de mujeres, para culminar en grandes debates políticos y organizativos que permitieron construir nuevas sendas para los próximos años.

Luego de la instalación, se inició con un foro sobre la coyuntura nacional e internacional, con la participación de organizaciones políticas como el Partido Liberal, el Partido del Trabajo, el Moir, el Partido Comunista y la FARC, entre otros, quienes con base en sus concepciones expresaron sus puntos de vista y apuestas para superar la problemática del momento.

Asimismo, se desarrolló un panel sobre la situación laboral y sindical internacional, con delegados de organizaciones internacionales de todo el mundo y de diferentes vertientes ideológicas. En este se entregaron elementos de juicio que permitieron ver mejor las formas como el capital se mueve a nuevas maneras de producción y los avances del imperialismo que afectan las condiciones laborales y de vida, de millones de trabajadores en todo el planeta.

El miércoles 8 de mayo, los 800 delegados de diferentes sindicatos de todo el país se reunieron en comisiones, para con base en tesis propuestas, discutir, proponer y construir lo que consideraron como lo mejor para los años venideros. En estos espacios debatieron sobre reforma de estatutos y estructura organizativa, la situación política nacional e internacional, la perspectiva del movimiento sindical nacional e internacional, política financiera, política educativa, el plan de acción estratégico, un plan de desarrollo alternativo frente al neoliberalismo, paz, derechos humanos y reparación colectiva y sistema electoral de la central.

Finalmente, los asistentes llevaron sus acuerdos y disensos a una plenaria en la que mediante votaciones aprobaron unas tácticas y estrategias que les permitan enfrentar las políticas económicas del gobierno de Iván Duque, pero también oponerse al modelo económico, resistiendo con movilizaciones, aunque también proponiendo alternativas.

Para el profesor Pedro Arango, integrante del ejecutivo nacional de la CUT, el congreso cumplió con los objetivos de trazar la política de la CUT para los siguientes años, como la pelea contra el imperialismo o el respeto a la autodeterminación de los pueblos. “También se trazará el plan de desarrollo alternativo y las maneras de enfrentar las políticas del Plan Nacional de Desarrollo del Gobierno, y el resto de políticas antipopulares que desarrolle. Pero, sobre todo, pedimos respeto a la JEP y desarrollo de los Acuerdos de La Habana. Por eso el congreso es exitoso y salimos fortalecidos, las bases respondieron al llamado”.

El invitado internacional, Alberto Reyes, miembro del secretariado de la Federación Sindical Mundial, FSM, asistió a varias comisiones donde pudo ver la altura de los debates y los temas tratados. “Estoy satisfecho. En todas las mesas de trabajo en las que pude estar se respiraba un aire profundo de la lucha de clases y en ese sentido creemos que el movimiento sindical en la CUT va en la dirección correcta. Se ha entendido que la unidad de la clase obrera es fundamental para alcanzar los objetivos de los trabajadores en todo el mundo. A pesar de las premuras del movimiento sindical, de la diversidad del pensamiento, se consigue la unidad, poniéndose de acuerdo en los intereses de la clase obrera.

“Desde la fundación de la FSM, luego de la segunda Guerra Mundial, sabíamos que las cosas no iban a ser fáciles para la clase obrera, por eso hemos estado organizando el sindicalismo de clase porque sabemos que no hay otra manera, esas mismas condiciones de los trabajadores antes del 45 están tomando beligerancia dado que el imperio ha decidido arrebatar conquistas”.

Finalmente, el también integrante del ejecutivo nacional de la central, Omar Romero, aseguró que dentro de las perspectivas que se tenían se logró la gran mayoría de las metas, como la participación de organizaciones internacionales como la FSM. “En la mayoría de las comisiones se lograron unos consensos que ayudarán a programar las luchas de la central en el futuro próximo como el Plan de Desarrollo, la burla a la paz, la entrega de los recursos naturales, que son parte de la política gubernamental”.
