¡A las calles contra la reforma tributaria!

En Bogotá, la cita es el jueves 8 de noviembre, a las 4 p.m. en el Planetario Distrital

Con el lema “Derrotemos la reforma tributaria de Duque y Carrasquilla”, la Central Unitaria de Trabajadores, CUT, y la Federación Colombiana de Trabajadores de la Educación, Fecode, manifestaron a través de comunicado el 2 de noviembre pasado, su rechazo a la reforma tributaria de Iván Duque y Alberto Carrasquilla, radicada en el Congreso de la República con el remoquete de “Ley de Financiamiento”, que trata de ocultar lo que realmente es, un asalto al bolsillo de millones de colombianos siendo las principales víctimas la clase media y los pobres; porque extiende el IVA a la casi totalidad de productos de la canasta familiar.

“Es decir, al 80% de los productos que son consumidos diariamente por millones y millones de pobres se les aumentará el 18% de su valor hoy, así, el Gobierno pone a funcionar la lógica de rebajarle a los ricos y cobrarle más a los pobres, tanto que 11,3 billones serán producto de meterle la mano al bolsillo del pueblo, cumpliendo las órdenes de los organismos internacionales con asiento en Washington, con el fin de resolver principalmente que Colombia pague pronta y cumplidamente los intereses y amortizaciones de la deuda externa equivalentes a 52 de los 258 billones de pesos del presupuesto del año 2019, siendo esta la principal forma de extracción de riqueza hacia el extranjero que somete a la Nación a la pobreza y el atraso”, explican la Central y la Federación.

Según estas organizaciones, Duque no tiene límites e intenta ocultar el garrotazo principal con el señuelo de devolver $51.300 pesos mensuales por hogar a los 4,3 millones de hogares más pobres; no obstante, le quitará en el 2019, $1,7 billones de pesos a las personas naturales que tengan ingresos mayores de 4,8 millones mensuales, igualmente plantea vender 2.3 billones de activos del Estado continuando la privatización.

“La ley de financiamiento le rebaja significativamente los impuestos a las grandes corporaciones nacionales y extranjeras, al reducirle su gravamen en los próximos cuatro años del 34% al 30%, lo que representa que al 2020 dejen de pagar $11,88 billones, exonerando de impuestos a las multinacionales y al gran capital financiero internacional. Sin ser la excepción este gobierno, funciona a las órdenes del gran capital y de los designios de los Estados Unidos”, explican las organizaciones de trabajadores y docentes, quienes a su vez proponen que lo que se requiere hoy para reactivar la economía, es mejorar la capacidad adquisitiva de la población con alzas generales de salario, con lo cual podrá adquirir mayores bienes y servicios, mejorando el consumo y por ende la producción, que queriendo dinamizar el uso de trabajo nacional se privilegiaría lo producido en Colombia, y no el indiscriminado comercio de importación de todo tipo de mercancías y baratijas, que quiebran y desestimulan tanto al agro como a la industria, además de producir un desmejoramiento del trabajo y el empleo de la población.

Por lo anterior, la CUT y Fecode, junto al pueblo, se oponen a la Reforma Tributaria y hacen un llamado urgente para levantar la voz de protesta y a través de la denuncia y la movilización en las calles, los distintos sectores sociales, políticos, sindicales, académicos y gremiales, deben derrotar este asalto a los bolsillos de la mayoría de los colombianos. Se inician las movilizaciones contra la reforma tributaria el próximo jueves 8 de noviembre en todo el país, en Bogotá la cita es a las 4 p.m. en el Planetario Distrital.
