Bolivia-Ecuador: Conspiración de derecha contra candidaturas progresistas

Tribunales de Justicia o electorales de Bolivia y Ecuador, coincidieron en la última semana en iniciar o endurecer procesos sancionatorios contra los partidos y coaliciones políticas de los expresidentes Evo Morales y Rafael Correa, en un alineamiento de sectores de extrema derecha para cerrarle el camino de regreso a las fuerzas progresistas de ambas naciones ante la inminencia de procesos electorales en lo que resta de este año y en el próximo.

En ambos casos, las autoridades electorales, manipuladas por sus respectivos gobiernos, iniciaron procesos con argumentos espurios, que en el fondo ocultan los temores de las burguesías nacionales de que fuerzas progresistas regresen al poder y les disputen el manejo de la política y la economía, en detrimento de sus intereses egoístas y en favor de los sectores populares.

En el caso de Bolivia, los candidatos presidenciales de la ultraderecha, alentados por sectores norteamericanos de la misma tendencia, propusieron la semana pasada postergar las elecciones generales previstas para el 6 de septiembre próximo. A los líderes de la derecha boliviana lo que les preocupa no es el crecimiento desbordado del coronavirus, sino que sus candidatos a la presidencia, Jeanine Áñez, Jorge Quiroga y Luis Fernando Camacho, no tienen ninguna posibilidad de ubicarse en los dos primeros lugares de las preferencias electorales.

Cargos contra Evo

Los tres candidatos juntos, no superan el 20 por ciento de las preferencias electorales, en contraste con la candidatura del Movimiento al Socialismo, de Evo Morales, que aparece en el primer lugar de las preferencias, de acuerdo a sondeos de opinión de todas las encuestadoras.

Ante una realidad tan contundente, el pasado 6 de julio la Fiscalía de Bolivia imputó cargos y pidió la detención del expresidente Evo Morales, bajo los cargos de “terrorismo y sedición”. La impetración de la acusación se basa en un audio casero atribuido a Morales en el que supuestamente desde México instruyó al dirigente cocalero Faustino Yutra para bloquear caminos e impedir el ingreso de alimentos a diferentes ciudades, en el marco de una protesta nacional contra el gobierno de facto, el año pasado.

El prestigioso abogado penalista argentino Eugenio Raúl Zaffaroni, quien asumió la defensa del líder boliviano, dijo al respecto: “La imputación a Evo Morales constituye la enésima evidencia del estado policial en Bolivia. Las pruebas no existen, la acusación fiscal es un disparate, igual que el pedido de detención. No hay cargo penal alguno que deba incriminar al expresidente, nuestro defendido. Morales lucha por la recuperación del estado constitucional y la democracia”.

De otra parte, el pasado lunes 20 de julio, el Consejo Nacional Electoral del Ecuador, actuando bajo presión de la presidente de facto Jeanine Áñez, dispuso la suspensión de la personería jurídica a cuatro partidos políticos, entre ellos Fuerza Compromiso Social, del expresidente Rafael Correa. Desde junio pasado, el exmandatario había denunciado la existencia de una confabulación para impedir su participación en las elecciones de febrero próximo.

El argumento para esta acción, es la existencia de un ‘vacío legal’, porque Correa no hizo una inscripción personal de su candidatura. “Digan la verdad. No hay ningún ‘vacío legal’. Desesperados, están buscando todas las formas de impedirme ser candidato porque saben que serán derrotados. No les importa atentar contra el derecho de todos, especialmente migrantes y grupos vulnerables, al exigir inscribirme en persona”, declaró Rafael Correa.
